Showing Favoritism

Black Church Will Pay Whites To Attend Services

[Topic: Religion] CNSNews.com: “A Baptist church in Shreveport, La., will pay white people to attend services in August – an effort to diversify its mostly black congregation, USA Today reported. The newspaper quoted Bishop Fred Caldwell as saying he will pay $5 per hour for Sunday services and $10 an hour for the Thursday service. “Our churches are too segregated, and the Lord never intended for that to happen. It’s time for something radical,” Caldwell said.

This is just so bizarre. It seems to contradict everything talked about in James 2. Why is a black church showing favoritism to whites?
