Twitter Reacts to Marines Urinating on Taliban Soldiers

No matter what the Marine Corps says about the incident, the liberal media will crucify the marines involved.

Before we condemn the Marines and America for urinating, lets not forget the atrocities committed by the Taliban. They are not to be pitied.

Marines Accused of Urinating On Dead Taliban Fighters

Marine Corps flagShould these Marines face court-martial? Yes

Should they be dishonorably discharged? Probably Not

Should they be given lengthy jail sentences? No

An appropriate punishment is probably reduction in rank and loss of pay with a reprimand going into their files. The liberal media will probably blow this out of proportion, but it’s just a tempest in a teacup.

USS Cole Bombing

Terrorism

Today is the 11th anniversary of the USS Cole Bombing. A day that proved Political Correctness costs lives.

In 2000 when the USS Cole refueled in Yemen‘s port of Aden, Navy brass were so concerned about appearing to be “sensitive guests” that sailors patrolling the deck were not permitted to carry loaded weapons. Nor did the destroyer deploy “picket boats” and establish a defensive perimeter — even though Yemen had only recently been taken off the State Department‘s list of countries that sponsored terrorism. All this pandering to imaginary foreign sensitivities made it pitifully easy for an al Qaeda motorized skiff packed with explosives to approach the destroyer and blow a hole in its side, killing seventeen sailors. Two hours after this entirely avoidable terrorist attack, another motorized skiff approached the stricken vessel. A sentry raised his rifle, only to be told by his superior: “Let me tell you something about the rules of engagement. You can’t point a loaded weapon at these people. That’s an act of aggression.” And you wonder why our enemies no longer take U.S. military power seriously?

What’s a “right-wing extremist?”

Aside

Could someone please define “right-wing extremist” for me? The only thing close to a definition I saw in the article was someone who disagrees with Obama because he’s the “first black President.” Maybe the perception that there are more “right-wing extremists” is because the “definition” is overly broad?

Who are they? I didn’t see on specific example in the article above.
