Newt Gingrich on Jobs

Election 2012

Newt Gingrich has taken a lot of criticism for remarks he made about the African-American community.

The African-American community should demand pay checks and not be satisfied with food stamps.

He also suggested school children should be employed as janitors in their classrooms and called Obama, “The Food Stamp President.”

I got my first job when I was 13 or 14 years old, and it was a dirty job. I worked cleaning up in a print shop. If you’ve ever been in a commercial print shop, you know they can be very dirty places filled with dust and ink fumes.

What was your first job and how old were you? Leave a comment here.
