Totenberg on Gen. Boykin

Eight years after NPR’s Nina Totenberg, on Inside Washington, wished death upon Senator Jesse Helms (“If there is retributive justice, he’ll get AIDS from a transfusion, or one of his grandchildren will get it”), on the same show over the weekend she seemingly desired to hasten the death of Army General Jerry Boykin for having supposedly expressed the view that the war on terrorism “is a Christian crusade against Muslims.” Totenberg hatefully advocated: “I hope he’s not long for this world.”

It’s time to fire this chick. If Rush had to resign for his remarks about McNabb, then she deserves to get the ax for her hateful comments eight years ago and especially now for her anti-Christian bias. If she wished death on a Muslim cleric she’d get fired in an instant.

Freedom’s Source

[Victory]

I received this poem about soldiers from the Traditional Values Coalition. I’d like to share it with you.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the soldier, who salutes the flag… who serves under the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag…who allows the protester to burn the flag.

Were it not for the brave…there would be no land of the free.

Author Unknown

Our brave soldiers deserve our deepest thanks and admiration for their
willingness to fight and to die for the freedoms we possess here in the
United States—including freedom of the press!

Next time you see some dumbonstrators, remind them of this little gem.

Miller on Arnett

Last night Dennis Miller was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He went off on Peter Anett:

“How am I supposed to trust the honesty of a reporter that has
that bad of a comb-over on top of his head? He’s got four hairs
left and he’s swirling them around…This guy is dangerously close
to pulling hair over from another guy’s head. Hey guess what Pete?
We know you’re bald, okay? The outside of your skull is as empty
as the inside.”

Nina Totenberg is one
reporter I love to hate. When she broke the so-called news
about Clarence Thomas supposedly harassing Anita Hill, I lost
all respect for her. Her credibility with me is gone.

But Nina is a darling of the liberal media elite. She can
wish death on Senator Helms and his grandchildren and they
think she’s funny. Nina said, “I think he [Senator Helms] ought
to be worried about what’s going on in the Good Lord’s mind,
because if there is retributive justice, he’ll get AIDS from a
transfusion, or one of his grandchildren will get it.”
I don’t
think that’s funny, I personally know Jesse Helms
grandchildren.

This is just one of the many outrageous things Bernard
Goldberg points out in
Bias
.
