Environmental Whackos V

Since I wrote my first log entry about Environmental Whackos, there have been three other entries in the series, but I didn’t mark them that way. Well here it is, I’m up to my fifth Environmental Whackos entry. This time there are two related stories.

Cute Bears

The first is about the lies environmentalists are telling about the Artic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR.) A photograph of a polar bear and her cubs appeared on the front page of the Washington Post on May 15th. It was supposedly taken in ANWAR, but it wasn’t. It wasn’t even a recent picture, the picture dates from the 1980′s and was snapped 200 miles away from ANWR. At least the Post did the right thing when they printed a correction two days later.

As far as I know, there were never any polar bears living in the refuge. Polar bears are normally found much further north living on ice flows near the North Pole. Just goes to show you, environmentalists expect us to swallow any lie they tell. It’s sad that most of the American sheople are stupid enough to believe them. Expect to see more propoganda, the Environmental Whackos are just getting their machine cranked up.
