A Better Way

Life

In a new commentary, columnist Maggie Gallagher makes her case for finding another way. Embryonic stem cells are not the most effective for research or potential cures. Bio-technology firms supported by venture capitalists are using stem cells. Privately funded research is always better than government funded research, they’re actually motivated to make a profit. Thirteen of 15 firms work with adult stem cells, which are “better behaved,” and therefore better suited for research than embryonic stem cells.

There is no need to kill babies to cure diseases like Parkinson’s, diabetes or paralysis.

This article points out why
we, as pro-lifers, must oppose stem cell research. we must
not
let society start to think that the taking of a human life
just might help find a cure for Parkinson’s disease. That cheapens
all human life!
