Terrorists Are Winning
It’s a sad day for the United States. We’re letting the terrorists win. This is exactly what they want, a nation living in fear. They killed almost 3,000 on September 11, 2001 and we got back up and came out fighting. We’ve got to do the same thing now. My advice to the people in MD and VA? Arm yourselves now. I don’t care what the concealed carry laws are in those states. Buy a gun! If the shooter knows there’s thousands of armed citizens out there ready to shoot him if they see him, he’ll stop.
Irresponsible Lawmakers
Delegates in Maryland’s legislature are making an irresponsible decision. They’re putting national security ahead of individual privacy, expanding the government’s eavesdropping powers. The comments of one lawmaker, Del. Dana Lee Dembrow, are particularly irresponsible. She said, "I realize that this bill basically says you can tap someone’s phone for jaywalking, and normally I would say, ‘No way.’ But after what happened on September 11th, I say screw ‘em."
