Don’t believe everything you hear from the pro-abortion lobby. FactCheck.org sets the record straight about John Robert’s record.

Attack ad says he supported an abortion-clinic bomber and excused violence. In fact, Roberts called clinic bombers “criminals” who should be prosecuted fully.

FactCheck.org is know for attacking both the Bush administration and their critics with equal vigor. The include plenty of real facts that shoot down NARAL‘s assertions.

This week our tour of Christian bloggers starts at La Shawn Barber‘s Corner. She brings up an interesting point about illegal immigration from a Biblical point of view.

Among illegal aliens I have brothers and sisters in Christ…However, I am not required to ignore or oppose justice against lawbreakers, even if they are believers. Government is supposed to punish lawbreakers, and Christian criminals are not excepted.

No Jeffersonian Wall

New scholarly research shows that Thomas Jefferson never intended to create a “wall of separation.” Daniel L. Dreisbach’s new book “Thomas Jefferson and the Wall of Separation Between Church and State” explores this issue.

“What we have today is not really Jefferson’s wall, but Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black’s wall,” said American University professor Daniel Dreisbach, whose forthcoming book explores how Jefferson coined the “wall” metaphor. The Founders created no such thing and the “wall of separation” has become a “lazy slogan” for judges and politicians.
