A recent CNN story asks, “Where is President Bush?” I find this interesting for two different reasons.

First, liberal journalists couldn’t wait to get rid of Bush because they thought he was a dolt and was ruining the country. Why do they want him back? I guess they want to tie current candidates to the “failed policies of the Bush administration.”

Second, former Presidents are traditionally silent about political issues after they leave office. Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter being the notable exceptions. I don’t think W. is going to break with tradition. I don’t think he should.
