Obama Using Recess Appointment Amid GOP Opposition

Aside

Obama Ignores the Constitution
When Bush was President liberals told him, “Don’t you dare make any recess appointments, the Congress is still technically in sesson” (Or words like that.) Now those same liberals are praising Obama for having the “Courage” to stand up to Congress and make recess appointments.

Democrats used the same delaying tactics in the Senate when Bush wanted to appoint Pro-Life judges, now they’re complaining that Republicans  are blocking Obama’s appointees . Typical double standard.

House Passes Bill to Extend Tax Cuts, Create Jobs

Government

The House just passed a bill to extend the payroll tax cut with one rider that directs the Obama administration to go forward on the Keystone XL pipeline. That in no way has anything to do with rolling back clean air standards. What it does is links a payroll tax cut to much-needed job creation. If the Senate and Obama won’t pass this bill, then they’re the ones who are increasing taxes on the middle class and standing in the way of job creation.
