Should abortion providers be forced to tell women about the abortion/breast cancer link? When I first heard about this, I was convinced it was a pro-life scare tactic. But then I read the scientific reasoning behind it.
It’s not the government’s responsibility to raise your children. It’s not the government’s responsibility to protect them from porn on the internet. Guess who’s responsible? You Are!
That’s right, we shouldn’t even need a Children’s Internet Protection Act. If you don’t want your children to get hurt, it’s your job to protect them. Not the “Nanny State.”
That’s what makes this lawsuit so unnecessary. They’re arguing over automatic pr0n filters on library computers. First, filtering software is fallible. It can’t tell the difference between “come and see these huge breasts” and “the abortion-breast cancer link.” Second, it’s a violation of an adult individuals freedom to automatically filter out perfectly legal material.
