<p>That&#8217;s what it says in the <a class="zem_slink" title="Declaration of Independence" rel="homepage" href="http://www.ushistory.org/Declaration/document/index.htm">Declaration of Independence</a>.</p>
<blockquote><p>We hold these truths to be self-evident, that <a class="zem_slink" title="All men are created equal" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_men_are_created_equal">all men are created equal</a>, that they are <strong>endowed by their Creator with certain <a class="zem_slink" title="Natural and legal rights" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_and_legal_rights">unalienable Rights</a>,</strong> that among these are <strong>Life</strong>, <strong>Liberty </strong>and the <strong>pursuit of Happiness</strong>.</p></blockquote>
<p>No matter how many times godless liberals tell us about &#8220;separation of church and state,&#8221; they&#8217;re wrong. They believe if you tell the big lie enough times, that will make it true. It doesn&#8217;t.<br />

Government does not give us Life, <strong><a class="zem_slink" title="God" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God">God</a> gives us life</strong>. Misguided judicial rulings and immoral legislation have given us a culture of death. How did we go from a country that valued life so much to a culture that allows so-called doctors to kill innocent babies? We forgot, <strong>God gives us life</strong>.</p>
<p>Government does not give us Liberty, <strong>God gives us liberty</strong>. <a class="zem_slink" title="Benjamin Franklin" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_Franklin">Benjamin Franklin</a> said, &#8220;Those who would give up <a class="zem_slink" title="United States Bill of Rights" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Bill_of_Rights">Essential Liberty</a> to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.&#8221; We cannot allow the government to impose new laws that limit our freedom. That&#8217;s the bottom line philosophy of those involved in the <a class="zem_slink" title="Tea Party movement" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_Party_movement">TEA Party movement</a>. When God sets you free from sin you have true Liberty!</p>
<p>Government does not allow us to pursue happiness. Government <strong>limits </strong>our ability to pursue happiness. Government has imposed such an onerous burden on small business owners that it has stifled our economic growth. I&#8217;ve heard countless stories of people who want to expand their business but won&#8217;t or can&#8217;t because there is too much <a class="zem_slink" title="Regulation" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regulation">government regulation</a>. They have no idea how much it will cost to comply with new government regulations, like <a class="zem_slink" title="Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act">ObamaCare</a>, so they put off hiring new workers. This limits everyone&#8217;s ability to pursue happiness.</p>
<p>Obedience to God is the only true way to <strong>pursue happiness</strong>.</p>

So, I thought it might be appropriate to remember some quotes from our <a title="TrommWiki: Founder's Freedoms" href="http://bit.ly/cKycOE">Founding Fathers</a> and other wise men.</p>

But we don&#8217;t all have to act like sheep if we remember the rights guaranteed to us in the <a class="zem_slink" title="United States Constitution" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Constitution">Constitution</a>.</p>
