Are We Safer Now?

Are we any safer from terrorism now than we were two years ago? The answer is both yes and no.

We are safer because we wiped out Al Queda sympathizers in Afghanistan. We’re safer now because we’re attacking terrorists in Iraq. That’s the good news.

When Will We Be Safe?

We’ll never be safe as long as bureacratic idiots refuse things like random car searches and profiling of airline passengers. The feds are in charge of airport security now, whether you agree with that or not airport officials are legally obligated to follow their directives. They don’t have an option.
