As you can see, the Tweet looks just like it would on the Twitter site and it even has links in it. Awesome!
Just installed a fantastic new WordPress plugin from RandomByte. It’s called Flickr Album. This is the slickest photo album plugin I’ve seen for WordPress. It lets you see all our recent photos and albums from Flickr. I think it actually runs faster then viewing the photos directly on Flickr, and it can even be used on my Treo 600. Check out trommPhotos.
Many thanks to Ben O’Neill for his excellent Technorati TagCloud plugin. It was very easy to install and it’s very easy to use. Look over in the sidebar for my TagCloud. It contains the most popular tags on my blog from the last 30 days (or will as soon as I figure tagging all the posts.)
In the process of upgrading to WP 1.3 I found a new feature, static pages. The first static page I created was Today’s News
. It has a feed of Yahoo! Top Stories and links to a few other pages with news.
I’m sure I’ll find lots of uses for the static page feature.
