On our way over to the beach this morning, we got stuck for a bridge opening. I decided that I needed to document a piece of history.
This is the last swinging bridge on the East Coast of the United States. There isn’t another one like it. As you can see in the background, they’re building a new high rise bridge over to the island. Soon this bridge will become a part of history.
We took a little mini-vacation over the labor day weekend. We visited the Inner Harbor and the National Aquarium. The “It’s weird down here” displays at the aquarium were definitely interesting. The highlight of the trip for the kids was the dolphin show “Play.”

I’m on vacation in Ocean City, NJ. It’s probably the most un-wired town in America. The only place I’ve been able to connect is the McDonald’s I’m sitting in right now. Guess it’s good to have a break for a while, but I wish the hotel had Wi-Fi that was working.
