Don’t Waste Your Vote!
A second grade teacher in South Carolina is explaining to her class that she is a Republican and how nice it is that we have a Republican president in office. She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Republicans and support George W. Bush.
Everyone in class raises their hands except one little girl.
Toastmasters Speech VI
Don’t know why it took me so long to post a link to this speech. I think I got everybody’s attention from the very beginning.
"I am hopping mad (jump) about spam! (slam can of spam on lectern)
I suppose some of you are wondering why I’m so upset about a can full of inedible luncheon meat. That’s not what I’ve got a problem with. (throw can over shoulder) Spam is the billions of unwanted e-mails that junk marketers send out every day."
Education or Indoctrination Redux
I gave my 8th ToastMasters speech today. I revisited the same topic as my 3rd speech, Education or Indoctrination. I re-arranged things, but still ran over by 39 seconds. That’s because I added a few things that weren’t in my notes, I should have stuck to my notes.
