Protesters, Officials Take Stock Of Occupy Costs

What the Occupy protesters seem to forget is that their protests are costing their fellow citizens real money. And it’s not just the 1% that are paying for their encampment­s, it’s every taxpayer. When city budgets are already stretched thin, why do these hippies think they have the right to demand that their fellow citizens spend money to protect them and clean up after them when they’re finally gone? My prediction is that mayors will say, “We no longer have money to provide vital social services because we used it all on an expanded police presence and cleanup after the Occupy protests.”

Listen up Occupy Wall Street people. We get your being angry at crony capitalism — we are too! But did y’all know fat-cat billionaire George Soros helps fund that $600 a week you’re getting paid to protest?

That the man he put in office, your fave, Obama, has taken in more Wall Street cash than any President in history?

That the “Green” movement they sold you is a money laundering system that takes from you and I, and gives it to their fave corporations, using your ideals as fuel?
