What’s a Mummer?
That’s a question I hear every time I say I watched the “Mummer’s Parade” on New Year‘s Day. Down here in South Carolina, most people have never heard of the Mummers. The easy explanation, think Mardi Gras but with better music and more class.
Christmas Eve Holiday
One of the good things about Ahold bringing EDS into the operation is that we gained three extra holidays this year. In addition to Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day, we get the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Since these holidays fall on weekends, that means we get two four-day weekends in a row.
