I’m of two minds about this. I don’t want to see funding for charter schools cut, but I doubt much of the money does go to charter schools since the teacher’s unions control where money goes. Unions don’t like charter schools.

As a Libertarian, I don’t think there should even be a federal Department of Education. Schools should be funded at the state and local level. Eliminate the jobs that exist only to file federal grants and most states could do without the federal funding.
