One of my biggest pet peeves these days is people who say, “Have a good one!” Have a good what? They must be too lazy to think about whether they should say, “Have a good day!” or “Have a good evening!” What’s up with that?
My other biggest pet peeve is people who refer to 12:00 PM or 12:00 AM. There is no such thing as either! It’s either 12:00 Noon or 12:00 Midnight. I don’t know if 12:00 PM is in the middle of the day or the middle of the night. I know what 11:59 AM means, that’s one minute before Noon. I know what 12:01 PM means, that’s one minute after Noon. Why can’t people get it right?
Am I right or am I wrong?
