We are legislating ourselves right out of a free society. The inability of children to play freely is just one symptom.

Hey…I was a public school teacher for Y~E~A~R~S. And I worked with the ones that didn’t fit in the mold. You HAVE to stay involved…or you could homeschool.

Unfortunately so many public schools indoctrinate our children to things we don’t want them to be. And with “relative morality” these days who is capable of making the rules? So what works for me may not work for you or someone else.

He’s gets bored easily. Home schooling has been very enlightening for me. He’s a very smart boy who doesn’t want to sit still.

I'm not ready to give up on the public school system yet. That's why Auburn and I will be very supportive, very involved parents at AJ Whittenberg for the next 5 years.

I think things will be very different next year at AJ Whittenberg Elementary School of Engineering. Everything I've heard so far convinces me their philosophy will be completely different from what we experienced at Mauldin Elementary. http://bit.ly/ajwhit

Excellent Jason! Times have certainly changed. So much pressure is put on young kids to sit at a desk. I'm just happy you're not medicating him for being a boy!
