During his first nine months in office, President Obama has quietly rewarded scores of top Democratic donors with VIP access to the White House, private briefings with administration advisers and invitations to important speeches and town-hall meetings.

Doug Hoffman says he’s fighting for the “heart and soul of the Republican Party” by running as a Conservative Party candidate, so don’t call him a spoiler.
When Republicans run as Democrat-lite, they will lose every time. (That’s why McCain lost to Obama.) I think Hoffman has a good chance of winning because he offers a clear distinction from the two liberals running in the race.
