There are a lot of good candidates this year. The front-runner right now is the professor who threw himself in front of a killer’s bullets at VT last spring. A U.S. Soldier and Tony Dungy also caught my eye when I read over the list.

I knew there was a reason I liked Fred. I’ve always said the government should be able to function on a 10% tax. If God can run his Kingdom on a 10% tithe, then the government should be able to get along with less. Government is not god.

In some ways his behavior is good. People will see that he is on par with Jimmy Carter as are those who follow him. This November, hopefully the conservatives will take control and neuter him. In 2012 this nightmare will end and his damage is limited. If he goes middle of the road, he will become popular like our last nightmare Clinton and get another 4 years out of the deal.
