There’s allegedly a debate about Iraq in Congress today. I’m sitting here trying to think about what Harry Browne would say about the overly dramatic political opera playing on C-SPAN as I write this. I conclude that today, we all miss Harry Browne’s clear, moral voice.
I’m not ready to join the Kool-Aid crowd on the far left, but sometimes I question the Republicans motives.
Google maps has a cool new feature you can use to display a customized map to all your friends. All you have to do is create a .kml file in Google Earth and then put the URL of the file on the Google Maps search line. Presto! You’ve got a customized google map.

US District Judge Frank C. Damrell Jr. dismissed a lawsuit brought by activist and atheist Michael Newdow seeking to have the words “In God We Trust” removed from our money.
Newdow was suing on the grounds that the appearance of those words on our money constituted a violation of his 1st Amendment rights. The suit, which targeted Congress and other federal officials and claimed that the mere appearance of the words “In God We Trust” on the official currency of the nation, is an establishment of religion and violates the 1st Amendment’s establishment clause which requires a “separation of church and state” and “excludes people who do not believe in God”.
Most reasonable people knew this would be the outcome. The media hype is politically motivated. You can’t out someone who wasn’t a covert agent.
Rove Won’t Be Charged in CIA Leak Case
Top White House aide Karl Rove has been told by prosecutors he won’t be charged with any crimes in the investigation into leak of a CIA officer’s identity, his lawyer said Tuesday, lifting a heavy burden from one of President Bush’s most trusted advisers.
