They’re Just Seals!

Environmental Whackos

Sure, they may look cute and adorable, but they make good fur coats. I’m sick of Hollywood celebrities trying to tell the rest of us what to do.

Anderson adds her voice to chorus of protests

Canadian-born actress and former Playboy model Pamela Anderson joined a chorus of protests against Canada’s controversial seal hunt on Tuesday, calling on the prime minister to heed world opinion and end it.

These hunters may be sparing some of these seals from an ugly and gruesome death later on. You ever see what a killer whale does to a seal when he catches it?

Bible is Foundation

Religion

I scored as Fundamentalist. I am a fundamentalist. I take the Bible as the foundation of my faith and read it very literally, and it shapes my worldview. Non-fundamentalist Christians have watered-down the Gospel in my view, and too much academic study of the Bible stops us from ‘taking God at his word.’ Science is not opposed to faith, it confirms basic biblical truths.

What’s your theological worldview?

‘Terror-supporting movie’ tops in weekend box office

‘Terror-supporting movie’
tops in weekend box office
‘V for Vendetta’ scores $8.35 million in opener.
A new movie characterized as a “terrorist-supporting, anti-Christian, neo-Marxist, left-wing propaganda” film by one prominent critic led the nation’s box-office this weekend.

The producers started work on this while they were making the Matrix trilogy, which was released on DVD in 2003. You do the math, the whole project was conceived before we invaded Iraq.

Protecting unborn children in SC

South Carolina

24 other states have such a law. Why has it taken us so long to pass a law like this?

South Carolina Unborn Victims Bill Gets Senate Nod, Pro-Abortion Attacks

An unborn victims bill in South Carolina received the support of the state Senate this month, but is also drawing attacks from abortion advocates who are making wild-eyed assertions about what the bill will and won’t do.

The South Carolina measure is not different from the law in more than 24 other states. It allows prosecutors to hold criminals accountable when they attack a pregnant women and kill or injure her unborn child.

Pro-abortion crusaders do not want laws like this passed. They think any law giving the “fetus” personhood before birth is a threat to their “reproductive freedoms.” I hope Governor Sanford wastes no time signing this bill once it gets to his desk.
