One of the good things about Ahold bringing EDS into the operation is that we gained three extra holidays this year. In addition to Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day, we get the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Since these holidays fall on weekends, that means we get two four-day weekends in a row.
Current policy prohibits American military chaplains from praying “In Jesus Name.” President Bush can change this policy with an executive order because he is the Commander-in-Chief. Send him a letter to encourage this important change. It’s important to the morale of all our troops.

School adds Muslim holiday
A charter school in Florida has added an Islamic holiday to its calendar of days off next year.
The move came one month after the school’s district drew national attention with a decision to avoid pressure from Muslims by eliminating all closures coinciding with religious holidays. The decision later was reversed after massive protest.
