What’s one skill you’ve wanted but don’t have?
I’m able to play guitar as long as you put sheet music in front of me. It can be a simple chord chart with the lyrics or a full orchestral score, I can play it. I’ll figure it out eventually. But I can’t improvise. I can’t “play by ear.” I think I’m slightly tone deaf, so I can’t listen to a piece of music and figure out how to play it, unless you give me the music.
I wish I was able to improvise on the guitar. I wish I had a better understanding of music theory.

Global Warming on Mars
NASA scientists say they’ve found evidence of global warming on Mars.
Photographs from Nasa’s orbiting spacecraft Mars Global Surveyor show recently formed craters and gullies. The agency’s scientists also say that deposits of frozen carbon dioxide near the planet’s south pole have shrunk for three summers in a row. They say this is evidence to suggest climate change is in progress.
Wow! I didn’t even realize that humans had permanent settlements on Mars that could cause global warming. Listen folks, if it’s happening naturally on Mars, then it’s happening naturally here on Earth too. Man has a very high opinion of himself if he thinks he can cause such profound changes in God’s creation.
Celebrating in Charlotte
They were celebrating in Charlotte last night. The Panthers knocked off the reigning World Champs. They’re back to the same form they were in when they went to the Superbowl. This should be a big confidence booster for Jake DelHomme and the rest of the team.
