British High Court Judge Approves Euthanasia of Baby Charlotte
A British high court judge yesterday ruled that Baby Charlotte, born three months premature, should be euthanized without further attempts to save her life through aggressive medical treatments. The decision has pro-life groups up in arms.
There are just so many things wrong with this story. It shows us the scary place we get to when we allow unrestricted abortion on demand and implement socialized medicine.
When we allow unrestricted abortion on demand, judges think they can determine when a child should die. This is not a baby in the womb, this is a child that has already been born.
When we have socialized medicine, the government decides when health care will be rationed. And in this case, the judge has decided Charlotte doesn’t get any more health care rations. Do we really want socialized medicine here in the United States?
Just got a new Kodak EasyShare CX7300 camera. It lives up to the "easy share" part of its name. I am able to use it on Windows XP without installing any extra software. One thing Microsoft actually did right.
Haven’t decided if I’ll install the EasyShare software. So far, I don’t see a need for it.
Check out the new pictures.
Dressed the kids up in their Halloween costumes and took them to the Picture People today. They dressed up as…well, you’ll have to see the pictures.
Interpret this quote however you will:
"But the safety of the people of America against dangers from foreign force depends not only on their forbearing to give just causes of war to other nations, but also on their placing and continuing themselves in such a situation as not to invite hostility or insult; for it need not be observed that there are pretended as well as just causes of war."
—John Jay, Federalist No. 4
