No More Bond For Brosnan

Movies

Actor Pierce Brosnan appears
to be turning in his license to kill, says Entertainment Weekly.
“That’s it,” Brosnan told EW.com. “I’ve said all I’ve got to say on the
world of James Bond.” In an interview on the magazine’s Web site,
posted Tuesday, the Irish-born actor said 2002′s “Die Another Day” was
his last mission on her majesty’s secret service. “We went out on a
high,” Brosnan said, “and I look back affectionately at that time and
doing those four movies. But I’ve said all I gotta say on it.

I hear they’ve already found a new actor to play Bond.

Planned Parenthood “I Had An Abortion” Shirts Cause Huge Uproar From Women

Shop Planned Parenthood’s online store, and you’ll find a collection of items promoting the organization — everything from pins to posters, from condoms to “milk chocolate birth control pill packs.” But recently, Planned Parenthood’s sales site tried to expand its merchandise line by touting a t-shirt proclaiming “I had an abortion.”

This has to be one of the most tasteless things I’ve ever seen Planned Barrenhood do. Why in the world would anybody want to advertise their abortion?

Sassy Sisters

2nd Amendment

I’ve always loved the name of the women’s gun rights group Second Amendment Sisters (SAS.)
Mike Adams is absolutely right when he says “the Second Amendment
Sisters simply advocate a woman’s ‘right to choose’ to own and
carry firearms.” Read the rest of his article to find out more about SAS and the legislature of The People’s Republic of New Jersey.

Founders Quote of the Day

United States

I just signed up for The Federalist‘s Founders’ Quote of the Day. Today’s is a prophetic quote from John Adams.

Democracy will soon degenerate into an anarchy, such an anarchy
that every man will do what is right in his own eyes and no
man’s life or property or reputation or liberty will be secure,
and every one of these will soon mould itself into a system of
subordination of all the moral virtues and intellectual abilities,
all the powers of wealth, beauty, wit and science, to the wanton
pleasures, the capricious will, and the execrable cruelty of one
or a very few.

No Soft Message

Race Relations

“It is not for media or anyone of this time anymore to say whether I’m right or wrong. It is time, ladies and gentlemen, to look at the numbers. Fifty percent of our children are dropping out of high school. Sixty percent of the incarcerated males happen to be illiterate. There’s a correlation. Tell the media to stop asking me what I think about people who don’t believe what I’m saying or feel that I’m too harsh or feel that I’m just running my mouth because I’m old. Seventy percent of the teenagers pregnant happen to be African American girls. Don’t ask me to soften my message.”—Bill Cosby
