Only this blogger, who saw it happen, reported the Verizon bomb scare. Apparently, regular media outlets won’t report such things.

I sent an e-mail to Ralph Bristol
asking this question, “Why isn’t anybody in the local media talking
about the bomb scare at the Verizon building in Mauldin yesterday?”

He actually wrote back a few minutes later to say “Most media have a
policy against reporting bomb scares that turn out to be false, because
it generally triggers copycat calls.”

Guess that’s the difference between reporters and bloggers.
