Air America?

Franken Wants to be a Factor Too

Topic: Entertainment The New York-based “Air America” network officially announced its launch yesterday and immediately became a target for conservative media types. “Already it’s not truth in advertising,” said GOP consultant and pollster Kellyanne Conway. “I guess the name ‘hot air radio’ is already taken.”

Interesting how the only people they could get to host their major shows are washed up comedians.

If by “washed up” you mean “best selling author” then yes.

“Washed up” means Franken stopped being funny when he left SNL. His recent stuff isn’t original. He steals the FOX news tag line “fair and balanced” and then he can’t even come up with an original name for his show. He copied Bill O’Reilly.

I give this network about a month before it folds.

Steals their tag line? Have you been reading the news. The Judge almost laughed in court and ruled that Fox’s claim was “wholly without merit”.

Maybe not “steal” in the legal sense, but Franken’s intellectually bankrupt. He’s just aping what O’Reilly has done so successfully. But Al’s not even fit to tie Bill’s sandals.

America doesn’t need another liberal network, we already have ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN…

I don’t even think Franken was funny on SNL, irreguardless of his politics.
