We left Epcot and took the Monorail thinking it would take us all the way to the Magic Kingdom. It didn’t. We got off the Monorail at this travel plaza in the middle of nowhere. From there we caught a bus over to Fort Wilderness for Thanksgiving at the Fort.
First thing we did when we got there was to have a family portrait made. The final picture package cost an extra $22.50 on top of the $100+ we spent for dinner and a show. (I guess that’s a pretty reasonable price considereing all we got.)
The food was spectacular. Best meal we had all week. They had everything from stew, turkey and ham to wonderful deserts.
The meal was followed by a great country music show. They also had a trick roper and Dancin’ Dan taught line dancing. Rachel was able to complete her autograph collection.
