Happy 75th Mickey!

Mickey MouseWhen you arrive at the Magic Kingdom these days, you’re greeted by 75 different Mickey Mouse statues. They’re there to commemorate Mickey’s 75th birthday. They range from a Mickey “made of cheese” to a basketball Mickey. Some of the Mickey’s represent different cities. We didn’t have time to take pictures of all of them but Rachel took pictures of some.

    Did you know that the Sonny Bono copyright extension act pulled the US out of standard international copyright law treaties for a more corporate friendly law that has the indefinite extension of copyright and the death of the public domain? All so Mickey Mouse would not go into the public domain.
