Senator Strom Thurmond Dead at 100
“Former Sen. Strom Thurmond, the nation’s longest-serving senator and former “Dixiecrat” (search) candidate for the presidency, died Thursday in Edgefield, SC He was 100.”
Our beloved Senator has died less than a year after he retired. Senator Thurmond served our country for over 60 years, almost 1/5th of the time Our Country has existed.

On the June 19 Tonight Show Jay Leno quipped, “And former Vice President Al Gore says he’s looking to develop a liberal cable TV and radio network to counteract Fox and all the conservative shows. Gore says there’s no outlet in this country for the liberal viewpoint. You know except ABC, NBC, CBS, HBO, Bravo, BET, Showtime, Lifetime, MTV, Oxygen, National Public Radio and IFC. Other than that, there’s nothing!”
I guess none of those media outlets are liberal enough for Al? Maybe people don’t want to hear the same, tired old liberal message anymore?
Hillary’s book has dropped to No. 9 on Amazon‘s bestseller list. Rocketing up the bestseller list is Ann Coulter‘s “Treason.” Her book is now No. 6.
Amazing how people really don’t want to read ultra-liberal Hillary, but
they want to read the more factual book from arch-conservative Ann.
In the end, we’ll see who has more staying power in the Top 10, Ann or Hillary?
