Al Gore must have felt like Rodney Dangerfield
this weekend. “I get no respect, no respect at all.” href="http://www.jsonline.com/news/nat/jun02/51090.asp?format=print"
>The Former VP was searched, not once but
twice, during a recent trip to Milwaukee. I’ll bet he
misses flying around on Air Force 2 at taxpayers expense.
Welcome to the real world, Mr. Gore.

You’re looking out and seeing Al Gore’s unmentionables in
his big, carry-on suitcase.

Somebody came to my site with the question “Does Senator Edwards of NC answer mail sent to him?” The answer is yes, but he never says anything. Edwards speaks with “forked tongue.” Even after reading one of this replies, I can’t tell where he stands on an issue.

“During childhood,
boys and girls look to their fathers for a sense of security,
warmth, attention, patience, and understanding. As young people
mature, their fathers contribute to their spiritual, emotional,
physical, financial, and social well-being. In reaching
adulthood, men and women alike are enriched immeasurably by the
wisdom of their fathers as they pursue careers, start families,
and take active roles in the community.”

>Who are these idiotic parents? They say they
don’t want their children “graded, labeled and compared.” I’ve got
news for them. That’s the
real world! When these kids grow up, they will be graded,
labeled and compared whether their parents want them to be or
not. Kids get more self esteem from competing with other kids than
they do from all the touchy feely mumbo-jumbo these parents
believe in.

The dumbest statement in the article from one of these
parents? “[Elaine Schmidt] worries the report cards will
dictate the school’s curriculum, putting math and English ahead
of activities such as the arts, field trips and hands-on
learning.” Art and field trips are more important than the
three R’s, huh? Not!
