It’s not enough for
the state to bleed their citizens dry with taxes, they have to
charge their people to enjoy what should be free—the
beach. Then, after you pay them to use the beach, they think
they can tell you where you’re allowed to swim. While visiting
this sleepy town stuck in prohibition days, I had a
philosophical disagreement with one of the so-called life
guards on the beach.
Libertarians are the only ideological activists
I know of whose actions are consistent with their own
principles.They don’t say that government is too big and then propose
ways to make it bigger.They don’t say our government shouldn’t meddle in foreign
countries and then demand that it run to the aid of some
foreign nation.They don’t criticize government programs on fundamental
grounds and then propose that government give them something
they want.And that’s why I’m a Libertarian.

A school district in Michigan has done the unthinkable. They said NO to the radical homosexual lobby. <sarcasm>What is this world coming to? </sarcasm>

“reproductive rights,” is not all that hot this year. We
have a “Pro-Life” President in the White House, but he
hasn’t been given any Pro-Life legislation to sign. I
don’t think Bush is using his bully pulpit to push
Pro-Life issues the way he should. He’s been very
lukewarm since he got into office two years ago.
I think the battle over the lives of the unborn has
shifted away from the federal level. It’s being fought at
the state level right now.
