Frauds and Failures

Environmental Whackos

Seems like the Sierra Club and other environmental extremists have gotten caught up in a pattern of waste, fraud and abuse. The very thing they accuse big multi-national corporations of doing. Maybe they should be called Environment, Inc. The sacbee just finished running a series of hard-hitting articles exposing the environmental whackos as the frauds they really are (and always have been.)

Environmentalists try to project an image of “simplicity, economy and living light on the land.” But as their fraudulent fund-raising brings in more and more money, they have become a corporation just like the corporations they criticize. Environmental groups today prosper while they land they seek to protect does not. They have few successes to show for all the big bucks they’re raising.

Logan’s Run

I guess the movie Logan’s Run was prophetic. Since when did we have a “duty to die?” Seems like a spotted owl is more important than a person. another innocent life. When will the U.S. Government learn?
Invading the privacy of people and making false accusations is not
the way to win the so-called “War on Drugs.”

This isn’t the first time the Peruvian military has shot down
civilians. This may be the 31st time they’ve shot down civilians,
but the first time they’ve shot down Americans. I guess that’s the
penalty for our hypocrisy; we try to force the Peruvians to stop the
production and export of the drugs but we do nothing to decrease the
market for the drugs in our own country.

Why does it take the death of a Missionary to get our attention?
