I guess now all the
stories about Madalyn Murray O’Hair
vs. Religious Broadcasting can be laid to rest. Texas
authorities have finally confirmed that She’s Dead!

The really funny part about it is that the Atheists and her son are now fighting over the body. It
would certainly be poetic justice if the son gets to bury her in a
“religious service.” Very funny indeed!

For those of you who don’t remember or didn’t know it, her son
William Murray, is head of the Religious Freedom Coalition in
Washington.

“Murray, 54, was the subject of O’Hair’s landmark lawsuit that
helped lead to the ban of prayer and Bible reading in public
schools. He converted to Christianity and has been estranged from
his mother – America’s best-known atheist – since the 1970s.”

The atheists seem to be a really angry group of people. “This was
a man [William] who lived his life publicly despising her and making
money off her,” Ellen Johnson, president of American Atheists, said
Friday.
